Three UK complies with Ofcom’s price ruling, unlike O2
Following on from the new ruling by Ofcom which prevents mid-contract price increases and then O2’s revised terms and conditions to circumvent it, Three UK has issues a statement from a spokesperson in response to public views.
“Your fixed monthly recurring fee from Three will not go up in the minimum term of your contract. We support Ofcom’s approach to fixing the price for pay monthly contracts for their duration. We think it’s only fair that customers should have clarity around costs when they sign up to a contract”
This is great news to hear that Three UK are supporting Ofcom’s point of view that prices should not be increased mid-contract. If any other statements appear from other firms such as T-Mobile, Vodafone etc then we will be sure to keep you updated!
