Ayacon kicks off for the final time!
Ayacon, one of the largest UK Anime Conventions is to close its doors for the final time when it ends on 18th August 2013. Ayacon and Amecon often alternates annually but after it’s 8th year they have decided to close their convention with as much fanfare as possible.
AyaCon is a weekend long Japanese culture convention. Featuring a range of events and guests revolving around anime, manga, video games, music and all parts of Japanese culture.
Running for our 8th and final year with the theme of ‘Apocalypse’, we plan to bring you the biggest and best event of its kind that the UK has ever seen.
Sadly eMagi was unable to attend but I hope all attendees and the staff of Ayacon will have a fantastic time and will give the convention the send off it deserves!
Have any great memories of Ayacon past and present? We would like to hear about them in our comments section below and we will be sure to pass them on to them!
